I didn't end up in Tellico Plains by accident.

I grew up mostly in north Georgia, just a few hours south of here. Over the years, I worked hard, picked up a range of skills, and created opportunities for myself in places like Atlanta, New York City, and San Francisco. I spent a decade building brands and telling stories for agencies and tech startups. Along the way, I learned how to communicate, how to start from scratch, and how organizations succeed or fail depending on whether they truly listen to the people they serve.

At some point, I realized I was tired of building other people's visions. So I made a change. I bought an RV and spent three years traveling across this beautiful country. I ran my own business from the road, lived simply, explored new places, and connected with people and experiences that truly mattered to me.

What mattered most to me were land, experiences, learning, and community.

In late 2020, I bought property in Ballplay. By spring 2021, I had guineafowl and bees on the land and seeds in the ground. I started Grow and Flow, a small regenerative farm and a yoga/movement studio in Tellico Plains, because I believe our community deserves a place to come together and care for themselves. I've always cared about breaking cycles and helping others on their journey. In early 2025, I finished a training program and earned certification in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga with the Center for Trauma & Embodiment. I noticed a real gap in mental health services here for people who want alternatives to traditional talk therapy, survivors of trauma, and those with chronic PTSD, so I decided to help fill that need.

I'm someone who takes action, which is why I'm on the November ballot. I don't wait for someone else to do what needs to be done, especially when I know others are ready for change too.

This is my home. I chose to be here, and I'm invested in this place. Building a business, working with your neighbors, and putting down roots shows how much I care about our community. I'm gay, and while that's not the focus of my campaign, I'm not going to hide it. I believe in this community, and I hope you'll let me represent it.

I'm running for District 23 State Representative because I believe people here deserve someone who focuses on what affects daily life, not someone in Nashville focused on appeasing folks in DC or chasing PAC money at your expense.
